Gun room wall display

I was thinking about getting a wall mount system for my guns for my gun room. Is Hold Up Displays any good and fair on pricing? The setup I want they are quoting me $2100ish.

144" W x 60" H with:
(2) vertical 6 rifle racks
(2) horizontal 3 rifle rack
(20) Right facing in-barrel handgun mounts - got extras for later use
(3) 4 slot mag holders
(1) Heavy duty shelf
Plate carrier hanger
Helmet stand mount

Are there any other better alternatives out there?

I was at an undisclosed location a few weeks ago and I saw something similar but more impressive (3 walls). Neat setup the individual had.

It's amazing how much the stuff costs to do it right, but when it's done right, and in the right "room", its really impressive.

No judgement on anyone else here, but this wouldn't be for me.

While I certainly do not support any safe storage laws, I do however beleive in at least relatively safe storage. I have my few guns that are 'out' and available (though somwhat hidden) of course, but I'm not making it easy for any burglar or anyone else to get at them by just having them out on display anywhere.
I personally feel it's a part of my responsibility as a gun owner to make efforts to keep them out of the hands of criminals.. and hell, I just also don't want to lose any guns, so most of them stay in a safe.

That said though, I also believe you all should do whatever the hell you want; I'm not'cho daddy.
Also though, if you have the space/money to have a 'gun room' that provides the security (or better) of a proper safe.. well, that'd be pretty awesome !

Mine is set up in a tiny, closet sized room that I use as an office. Door is secured with a mechanical push button combination lock. Security level way better than a Stack On cabinet, not as good as a quality safe, but with the benefit that nobody is going to roll it away on a hand cart.

I got tired of not being able to see my guns locked away. Now I can see them, and don't have to unload a safe to get what I want.

The "undisclosed location" I was at was someone's walk in vault deep within the ground. Not in NY. They are smart enough. ;)

This is what I did IMG_3696.jpeg IMG_3697.jpeg I have a black steel pegboard for that “tactical “look. It came with an assortment of steel pegboard hooks and shelf brackets that are of varying lengths and then even purchased another set of shorter hooks so they would not stick out too far. This board came in 3 sections with predrilled holes 16” on center for easy wall hanging. I went this route because of the versatility of being able to display any handgun or rifle of any size in any configuration I want and I change it monthly. No gins on display now because I’m traveling so much for work lately . YMMV

Might I suggest getting some black rubber hose (Fuel Line) to fit over the wires for padding, less movement, and the prevention of scratches...3/16" would be about right, and the local autoparts store that sells off bulk rolls might have remnants they'll give you.

I actually have some rubber coated pegboard and shelf brackets on order for that reason…but that is a good idea

Did you reinforce the walls, too, or are they just drywall?
