Gun safe dial suddenly got harder to turn

If your opening handle is turned the opposite way other than open, mine puts pressure on the dial.

Really not sure what happened thought it was fully closed maybe not though.

I actually prefer the dial... old school, lol.

They had option for biometric lock when i bought it but wasn't thrilled about having to worry about batteries etc.

I went with the dial too. Electronics break much more IMO.

Don't think pry bars on door would be that effective on my safe now grinder on side well that's another story...

Could do something like this. Keep the document with all the info required to get into the digital vault with someone like a lawyer only authorized to disclose it upon your death. That way you can keep the digital vault up to date and the lawyer is really just handed out credentials to get into it which stay the same.

Have to agree with you there. For something like a lock, electronics are just more things to break that isn't anywhere near as easily serviced. Great if you are a manufacturer selling parts, not so great if you are the end user.
