If your opening handle is turned the opposite way other than open, mine puts pressure on the dial.
Really not sure what happened thought it was fully closed maybe not though.

I went with the dial too. Electronics break much more IMO.I actually prefer the dial... old school, lol.
They had option for biometric lock when i bought it but wasn't thrilled about having to worry about batteries etc.

Don't think pry bars on door would be that effective on my safe now grinder on side well that's another story...Well, if you get locked out, just skip to the 2 1/2 minute mark to learn how to get in to your safe. lol

Have to agree with you there. For something like a lock, electronics are just more things to break that isn't anywhere near as easily serviced. Great if you are a manufacturer selling parts, not so great if you are the end user.I went with the dial too. Electronics break much more IMO.
