Gun Safe Lights

I have a Liberty safe and for years I was struggling with ways to light the interior.
Even though I know where everything is in the safe I'd like to see everything as plain as day.
Yesterday when my wife and I made our monthly trip to
Costco my wife came upon these Duracell puck lights for $13.

On the way home I bought some industrial strength velcro from Michael's.
VELCRO® Brand Industrial Strength™ Coins
I used three of the light to get the job done.
I elimimated the bases and just used the puck lights.
I only had to use one side of the velcro because the material
on the safes interior acted as the other part of the velcro.
I stuck one on the top toward the front shining down and
one on each side of the door jam half way down shining in.
It lights up all of the interior with a minimum of shadows.
I am very pleased with my find and hope some of you will find this info helpful.

I keep a night light plugged in and on at all times, works and doubles as a small heat source to dissipate any humidity. The safe has an inside receptacle though.

I had a guy on EBay make some LED strips. I measured the inside perimeter and he made the lights to fit. Came with everything including a door actuated switch. Works great. I had the puck lights but went with these. If anyone wants the puck lights they can have them for free, just pay the shipping or meet me locally.

I can't remember the name but just go on the site and search for safe lights, that is how I found them. I think they were about $50 each but that was a few years ago..

I follow a lot of youtube channels relating to firearms and outdoors subjects and found this video a while back. I don't currently have a safe that would require this much illumination to see into but it's a neat and fairly simple idea and appears to light a safe extremely well.

I bought one of those magnetic lights that looks like a wall switch at my local hardware store.
