I like many here have found out the hard way that a 20 gun safe really won't quite handle 20 LONG guns, so I've been looking for a better solution.
I found RIFLE RODS from Liberty safe(.com) I picked up the 10 pack starter kit, it's bit pricey at $39.95 but thought I'd give it a shot. Well plain and simple it works real well!
What it is is a sheet of Velcro that staples to the bottom of your top shelf and some long strong plastic rods that slide down the barrel and then after placing the gun in the safe just lift the rod up so it attaches to the Velcro holding the rifle in place. I'm going to defiantly buy the extra rods. I can easily see fitting 20+ long guns in there and still fitting another 15 or 20 hand guns! I forgot to mention the handgun racks they have are pretty cool but I haven't tried them yet.
BTW I picked up the starter set at The Firing Pin and they had about the same price as the web site.
