That's the best advice I've ever read...so true!Whatever you decide to buy get the next size larger. I haven’t learned that and have upgraded three times.
LOL...I live right by Tractor Supply in Medford and had no idea they stocked gun safes!Tractor Supply. Check them out.
Not sure this is what you're looking for, but I was in BJ's yesterday and they had a couple of large gun safes on sale. The brand is Wasatch. The large 24 gun safe was about $450. and the smaller 18 gun was $329.00. I bought a small one a few months ago to store ammo in and it was of decent quality. Not near the quality of my main safe, a Dakota but it was pretty good. I liked that they have a key back up if the electronic pad fails. My Dakota doesn't have that, and it scares me....Im in search for a good quality gun safe. 18 gun or bigger. If anyone is selling one or has info on one let me know. Lay down masonite then use 1-1.5" schedule 40 PVC pipes cut in lengths to fit under the safe. Pushes so easy you'll wish you brakes on it.Unless you get it delivered to the exact spot you want it make sure you have lots of strong stupid friends to help you.
Man these things are heavy

That's a large reason we paid movers a couple years ago. I had zero interest in trying to move a 500lb safe up a flight of stairs.Unless you get it delivered to the exact spot you want it make sure you have lots of strong stupid friends to help you.

I ended up buying the Winchester 26gun safe from tractor supply. On sale for $550 and Only $100 to ship when you order it at the store. Other stores i was getting crazy shipping quotes.
Good to know. I love the fact it has a key incase the keypad fails.I have one of those. Bout three years now. Love it. I will offer this up, the battery in the lock, change it at least once per year.

I think the key only locks the dial, not opens the safe.Good to know. I love the fact it has a key incase the keypad fails.
It says it opens the safe incase of failure. They give you one and its $50 for them to send you another one. I dont have the safe yet but im interested to try itI think the key only locks the dial, not opens the safe.
Those are some wise words of advise.Whatever you decide to buy get the next size larger. I haven’t learned that and have upgraded three times.
