Anyone going to the gun show at the Hamburg Fairgrounds this weekend?
I’ve never been , usually any good ?
The Hamburg gun show is fair to average. If there was one gun show in Erie County to go to, this would be the one. Overall, most gun shows (across NY) the vendor numbers are down and the stock is down. In the past, Erie County and Niagara County pistol permit offices had services available there for immediate transfer of pistols. I only go to shoot the shit with the FFL guys I know and to listen to everyone bitch about Cuomo.I’ve never been , usually any good ?

Couple of acquaintances buy out estates. Once in a blue moon they manage to bring in a bunch of used reloading gear. Hit and miss.I also like listening to people bitch.
Great selection of knives at this one. I spent hundreds on knives at the last show.

You find the knife prices any good? I usually wait for the holiday/birthday discounts from the brick and mortar stores.
Remember the good ole days when you could actually get genuine USGI surplus stuff at the shows. Now it's just ROTHCO-China faux surplus.
I am planning on going Saturday. Not sure if Mrs. Tinman is going or not.
Probably over forty years ago I bought a three knife set for carving, made in Norway if I remember. They are laminated steel and even I can put an edge on them that is scary sharp, it holds too. Still using them. There is a guy that sells knives that are made in Scandinavia, awesome quality.
