At 12:00pm today Councilmember Vanessa Gibson will join with community groups, clergy and advocates during Gun Violence Awareness Month for a rally with mothers impacted by gun violence in the Bronx. 489 East 169th Street, Claremont Neighborhood Center, The Bronx.

Will she have the balls to wear an Orange Prison Jumpsuit (the Gun Violence Awareness Month Color is in fact Prison Jumpsuit Orange) to reinforce the fact that the focus on ending this Violence should be on the criminals that petpetuate this Violence and not an innantimate object?

Gun violence awareness month will be just as successful as cancer awareness month. Who the hell isn't aware of violence and cancer? The ONLY thing that is usually raised for these "Awareness" issues is money. BTW, my guns are very well behaved and not violent at all.

Technically they should call it politically pandering month. PC sucking up to voters for attention and planting the seeds for November votes. New month, new PC issue and ass sucking for problems they can't solve. They love creating the illusion of problems, it gives them power.
