Governor Hochul will host a "gun violence" roundtable today in Brooklyn at 2:00pm
Your money and my money.I'm going with $$$ handouts to Democrat cronies.
I'm guessing its going to be a table full of gun banners.
What possible justification can the state have for asking businesses to bring employees into an office unnecessarily ?Meanwhile, she and the Mayor are asking businesses to stop letting employees work from home.
How many at this alleged "round table" will be wearing masks?
Shame on me for being cynical. This is a really really really big deal. They want to save lives donchaknow.
It's all good until revenue from tolls, parking, mass transit, etc go away. Then the serfs need to get back to work. COVID be damned. Besides, if they tell everyone to get back to the office, then they enforce the test or jab policies. What possible justification can the state have for asking businesses to bring employees into an office unnecessarily ?
Don't forget property taxes as all that commercial real estate sits vacant. It's all good until revenue from tolls, parking, mass transit, etc go away. Then the serfs need to get back to work. COVID be damned. Besides, if they tell everyone to get back to the office, then they enforce the test or jab policies.
Tests, jabs, it all comes down to money
The way I see it. The Governor's Office along with the Mayor's office broke it, so now they own it.
With people working from home, companies are no longer interested in paying $2000.00 per sq foot for office space. The landlords have to pay their property taxes. Tolls are down, supporting businesses like restaurants are affected.
This is what happens when you get politicians that have never run so much as a lemonade stand running the government. They got what they wished for, No Mo Trump! Now they have to live with the destruction they caused.
Lets hope so.Is there a primer in the middle of the round thing?
