Basically the cops are taking the guns from crime scenes and criminals and giving them to this nonprofit who then melts them down and turns them into jewelry. 25% Proceeds apparently go to "community improvement projects."
A better approach, in my opinion, is to auction the functional guns off and give 100% of the proceeds to anti-gang task forces or perhaps provide 50-50 to job training and career programs.
My guess is that most of the profit is going into that dude's pocket with a sizeable portion going to Everytown or some other anti-gun group.

Ha! Was looking at their website and they're not just in Chicago. Apparently they have relationships with the Cities of Syracuse and Newburgh too! Do you think I can specifically request a bracelet from a gun used in a homicide in Newburgh? Would it cost more if it was a double-homicide?
