I may catch hell for this but President Trump still has my vote...
I am not happy at all with Trumps actions regarding the 2a. But what else am I to do?
It's like a damn if I do, damn if I don't. But being that I live in NYS. it's not like my vote counts anyways.
Any Democrat would be far, far worse... Not only in regards of our 2a rights on a national level. But also when you look at the big picture such as open borders, amnesty, green new deal, medicare for all, foreign policy, etc. Also, I do not want Democrats placing Supreme Court Judges or Federal Judges... Basically, the whole socialism - commie shit that the leftists are pushing...
So yeah,,, When I look at the big picture I will do what I have to do to help keep a Socialist Democrat out of power in any election. Being it, Local, State or Federal.
But once again, being that I live in NYS my vote does not count anyways. So what's the difference.
To be honest there have been times that I wonder why do I even bother voting anymore. But I go to the polling station anyways.
I will not waste my vote on a 3rd party candidate... Not in the precarious times like we are in now anyways.

Trump failed to urge Congress to pass HR 38 and the Hearing Protection Act when he could. He hasn't lost my vote because the alternative is much worse, but I ain't happy with him.
Im done with all of them.
For the first time in 30 years, im a non-voter in federal elections.
If I do decide to vote, ill vote for the most progressive candidate.....preferably a black, gay , Muslim woman.....
Donald Trump, Republicans, Conservatives.....none of them matter. They had everything in 2016 and 2017....they did nothing. A bunch of blowhard politicians.....and Trump fits right in now.

Like many, I'm upset with his lack of Second Amendment support. He made promises to the Second Amendment Community, including National reciprocity which we have yet to see.
It's not like we had a choice in 2016 because of the obvious reason, and it's not likely we will have a choice in 2020 either. However, if we put enough pressure on to scare him then perhaps maybe we will get some better support.

All politicians have the same goal, just different ways of reaching them.
They want control and an obedient public.
Behind the scenes, the Repubs and Dems all work together, they are co-workers and friends.
When the dems have control, they get shit done. When the Repubs have control, they do nothing of consequence......meaning.......they all want the same things
We are basically a 1 party nation but most are too dumb to see it.

However, I believe there is still hope with local and state politics.

States are starting to wake up and take action........constitutional carry, illegal abortions, sanctuary states..........
If we did away with 90% of the federal government and did away with allowing then to rule over states, we may repair our nation.
