Yes there are some people on both sides that take things too far. There are also people on both sides that are more moderate in their thoughts and actions. In totality though it isn't even close over the last decade or so who has led us down the path where we currently are on. The right isn't trying to change the sex of young kids, letting illegals flood the country, taking away our 2nd amendment rights, behind the pronoun movement, changing the name of sports teams, food products, moving to make pedophilia normal, causing the economy to be the shit show it is, shutting down the society with the BS covid restrictions, making clot shots mandatory to work, ruining kids lives with no in person schools, allowing drag queen time reading hour, etc.. I could go on. The world is different compared to when I grew up MOSTLY due to the policies of the liberal left.

No I am not a fan of how Hochul is trying to get around the Bruen decision. I think all you should need to get a CCW is a criminal background check, written and field test, and be able to articulate why you want to concealed carry.
