Same exact SIG trigger bars, same “675” part number, different results. One trigger bar reacted with “disconnector-like behavior” in both FCUs, and the other trigger bar did not, also in both FCUs. And there’s no way to know what is different about the trigger bars as they measure out in all dimensions to be equal. So, one is “bad” and it’s hard to say exactly why. Unless someone gets inside your FCU while the gun is fully assembled, and forces the sear forward with a hard metal poker, the trigger still must be cycled to get the gun to fire.

I have a 320 (plain jane model...not any tricked out ones) that I sent back during the "voluntary, totally not a recall" Sig offered when the issue first cropped up. Haven't had a problem yet. Also haven't dropped it either and it's always only gone bang when I've pulled the trigger. Still it gives me pause and the reason why I don't carry it and rely on it's little cousin, the P365. As far as I know that model has had no issues with drop safety.

Sold mine to fund an M&P which I am very pleased with. I'm carrying it this very moment in fact.
On that note in retrospect I think it was a good thing my fullsize P320 was too large for me to ever consider carrying lest I had a 9mm hole bored through my leg.

Not sure what they're going to say, but I believe they are sponsored by sig so I can guess it will be very positive. Nothing to see here, its just internet rumors.

Jesus. Didn't they learn anything from Remington? If I remember correctly they wanted to save something like .30 cents ($30 back in the day adjusted for inflation) for a trigger and created a possibility for the gun going off by barely touching it.
I have both a Remington 700 (manufactured sometime in the 70s) and a Sig P320 (manufactured when they first came out so maybe about 10 years ago now) and haven't had any problems with either. The Sig did go back when they had the voluntary "totally not a recall" and was supposedly fixed.
So now a recall of the recall?? What a mess..
