Dionisio tells News 12 he had a couple of drinks that night but insists he was not intoxicated or too impaired to drive.

I am so confused after reading that article and watching the video. Is he a mayor or town supervisor, they seem to use the terms interchangeably? Why does he have emergency lights on his town owned vehicle? They got a automated crash message, from what the vehicle? He states there was no damage to the pole, which clearly looks fucked. Where are the pictures of the vehicle?
Other than that its small town politics and "professional courtesy", only problem is it got caught on camera.

Just saw this thread. This current mayor just sued his way to victory this past election. A former mayor who is well liked ran last min. Election as a write in and won. He had more write in votes then the two other candidates. He sued and it got overturned bc of term limits since former mayor served 10 years. Pretty sad tho the whole town basically told you they dont want u as mayor an you sued to stay in power. I would of stepped down from embarrassment.

I'm amazed at some of them. You see it on the snews frequently where a politician gets caught lying, cheating, whatever, red handed. And most of the time they deny it, even though it's pretty much proven, or on video. They get shamed by media (some media) for a few days, then it's water over the dam, forgotten. And a few weeks or months later that same politician will be on the boob tube preaching their latest lines of bs, like nothing ever happened, and then get voted in again. That along with the usual graft/bribes/corruption and government ends up being mostly full of crooks, both Dems and Repubs. We The People forget way to soon.
