Just because this was going on for a long time, doesn't make it acceptable. Where was the media all that time, that's the question.

Most of the conversations that I have heard is that he Sexually Harassed a bunch of women. Okay. What exactly does that mean? These loose terms that everyone uses are not helpful. Yeah, I get it, "The Casting Couch" and all.

Many of these women were glad to hang out on This couch in order to further their careers, most were not forced into anything. I am not saying this guy is not fifth, I am only saying that these women chose to use their bodies to get further in Hollyweird. All of these women wanted to be A list actresses; they chose to hangout with Weinstein.

That may be true in some case, but all of his accusers tell a different story and it's not just she said, he said. There is an audio evidence of what amounts to sexual assault. NYPD presented evidence to Manhattan DA, but he refused to prosecute. If it was only sexual favors, we wouldn't even hear about it. Even his high power friends could no longer protect him.

As the story moves forward, we will probably find out that it goes beyond simple harassment, but, for some of these women, I cannot feel bad for them. They made the bed that they lie in. Many chose the couch over their pride and honor. Many traded sex for a job. No different than prostitution. Now that some have come forward, many more will do the same. They weren't complaining when they were getting multi million roles in movies or when they were winning their awards.

I am not standing up for this turd, he was/is a predator. He is scum, Hollyweird scum, but still scum!

I would agree with you on women who did this to advance their career, but in many cases the women were threatened that their established career will be ruined, if they refuse. This is an important line to draw. Threatening as opposed to offering, even if it's not a threat of violence.

Precisely. If I were a professor and told female students I would sabatage their grade if they wouldn't let me touch them, I would be thrown into a dumpster in the projects on my rear end. In hollyweird, I would probably get a parade thrown in my honor and a new brand of vodka and painkillers names after me. The North American Man-Blackmail Love Association would probably give me a donation for my bravery "coming out" as a dirtbag. Univerities would give me speaking angagements.
