Does anyone use one for hunting? My uncle has the cheap model. They all use replaceable blades. I am considering this foldable which has both a regular and replaceable blade. Expert Voice discount has it at $41. That’s a great price.

I don't use them for hunting but have two that I use for skinning and other stuff. Nice thing is it's simple to have a razor sharp edge in 30 seconds. Also several blade types for different jobs.

What’s the blade changer? Something to make it less likely to cut yourself while doing it?
Yes, you slip it over the blade, squeeze and pull. Put fresh blade in and install in reverse.

I have two, awesome for skinning.
Outdoor Edge is another manufacture. I have the Havalon but this is my second set. The gut hook knife in the pic the blade doesnt change. These 2 are nicer than the Havalon just because they are a little beefer. The gut hook one is razor sharp just like the replaceable blade one.

I use the piranta for skinning deer. Love it, I'm sure it would be fine for gutting but I have sentimental attachments to my gutting knife.

My dad and I did a wild board hunt in PA several years back, and the guide had one. He absolutely loved his, and they're razor sharp. He said he's cut himself a couple times and didn't even know it.
