By design, the Constitutional amendment process is a long and tedious one. Ain't NO WAY 3/4 of the Several States are going to ratify an amendment repealing the 2nd amendment. The MSM can call for the second coming of Christ too, if they want. Not gonna happen.

We dont need the second amendment, the constitution gives the government no power to take anything from us. People need to start reading the constitution not just the bill of rights. The framers of this country wrote ALOT about thier thoughts of government . Aside from official documents, They wrote essays, personal journals , letters to each other and thier wives. This country is so far removed from the way it should be its not funny and we wonder why its dysfunctional.

I am kind of happy to see the calls for repealing the second ammendment. I can respect someone that calls for the repeal of the second ammendment and banning of all guns a hell of a lot more then cock sucking politicians that ban guns in the middle of the night, while claiming to support the second ammendment.

By calling for the repeal of the second ammendment, they are admitting that they can't legally/constitutionally ban guns via congressional legislation, but that it will require an ammendment to do so. A ammendment to repeal the second ammendment is not going to pass, so I am not worried about that, but it's nice to see a little bit of honesty in the discussion, even if it's by accident.

Really do something about it. Get the process moving forward to have a Convention. Change these outdated laws the correct way. While we are at it, we need to completely revamp the 1st as well. Hell, let's have a convention and take a look at all the outdated printed word. Time is about right to reword almost the entire document!

I vote. Every election. I contact my local, state and federal legislators regularly. I have 'signed on' the Convention of the States petition. I put my money where my mouth is. Unfortunately, there are those that just sit on the sidelines, and naively think that venting their frustrations on some internet forum, in effect 'preaching to the choir', somehow makes a difference.

Yea it needs to be written the same but in simple english. Apparently "shall not be infringed" is confusing.

While were at it we'll write the first line in spanish. The second line in english. Unless we put the english line last after every other language is written first. just like most instructions one has to read these days.

FINE! Let's get an Article V Convention of States convened and the Leftist states can propose an amendment to repeal the second amendment. It'll never make it out of the convention. But....a lot of good amendments could get proposed.

Like...term limits which would def drain the swamp, a balanced federal budget to force the Federal government to live within it's means...repeal the 16th amendment to get the Federal gov't off our backs...just to name a few

For all intents and purposes it basically is repealed in New York. Not only that but the Supreme Court refuses to defend not only the Second Amendment but their own precedent in Heller.

I'm so demoralized, it just feels like nothing is ever going to get better especially for us. If Hillary had won the court would be jumping at every chance to ram through their activist agenda. Again I'm just so demoralized...

What the hell is the Supreme Court waiting for? Is there some larger grand plan in the works or are they just total and absolute hacks? Justice Thomas's dissent was excellent but at the same time reading it makes my blood boil.
