Central New York resident. I live in Cayuga County. I own a couple handguns, two shotguns and a Ruger 10/22. I'm now in my late 50s and I've had that Ruger 10/22 since I was about 25. Love that thing. Anyways I'm looking forward to being part of the activity on this board. About a year ago I found the old forum, NYFirearms, and I spent a good amount of time reading articles and posting and wondering why it was so dead and hasn't been updated in a very long time. Just last night someone asked the question on that board about why there was no updates or activities on the site. The response was the old forum was bought out by some other company and they've let it dwindle to nothing and that person recommended coming to this forum. So here I am and looking forward to an active site.

its like not having a full set of golf clubs!

I can't give you an exact number,,, but true success in gun collecting comes when you have so many that you can walk right past the wife with a brand spanking new gun and she is totally clueless because it looks like all the rest of them.. just make sure you remove all those stupid stickers they put on guns these days..
