Hi all. I’m not a firearms owner yet but my wife and I are looking to purchase our first guns. Currently, we are thinking Savage 320 20 guage pump shotty for home defense and, if i can find one for a decent price, a Ruger PCCarbine for range practice.

If it's NYS compliant, I would grab it. I've seen them priced upwards of $900 recently.

Thanks for the welcome all. Happy to say I bought my first firearm today. I got the ruger pc carbine with the free floating handguard for $799.
