Hello everybody.
New member here. I'm in the process of getting my pistol permit. I called county clerk two weeks ago, and they said my application is already at the judge's desk. Let's see how long it'll take.
I currently own a Ruger 10/22, and once I get my permit, I'll be able to pick up my Glock 19. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Thanks for having me.

Not likely to be unrestricted unless hes connected to someone. Such is the fate if many in this county, but hopefully SCOTUS will change that.

It's very difficult to get an unrestricted. Because, self defense, is not a valid reason to carry a weapon....Mine is for target practice. And NOOOOO NYC is a different country from the US when it comes to give pistol permit.

Hey how long did it actually took till you received your permit, is it ccw or target ?
I’m still waiting on mines dropped off my application on July 21. It’s been 2 months and 2 weeks now. My check was cashed on September 13th it’s been exactly 4 weeks now and still noting. Called the clerks office they told me it’s at the judge desk now since last week

It took me about 6 months. First I got a target restricted permit. But after bruen I upgraded it to full carry.

Nice I applied before September 1. But for target with the old application but everyone says it will be full carry ? Once I’m approved honestly I’ll see what happens should only be a matter of time, but really just wanted the target. Going threw all these new procedures for a ccw it’s too much of a hassle
