This is my first post and wanted to say hello. I used to shoot a 9mm years ago but now that I have gotten older I can no longer handle the recoil so I am looking for something different. I am going to start with retaking my pistol permit course because I never renewed mine and it expired but with everything going on it is time I rethink this. I look forward to learning more from the expertise of all of you.

Welcome. You could also try a .380 with ARX or Novix ammo. It's very light, so the recoil is much diminished. I use this in 9mm and the recoil is probably 1/3 less than the typical 115gr rounds.
