Pretty self explanatory- are Henry axes still legal? If they are, are most new York stores scared to sell them because of the current climate?
Thanks all

ooh, THAT axe, LOL
Well, shockwaves are now illegal right? Anything that is an "other" I thought was now illegalwhy would an axe be illegal?
glad I don't live in New Yorkistan anymore. You should see all the cool stuff you can buy in South DakotaWhen Henry Repeating Arms released the "Mare's Leg" as a Pistol approved by the BATFE, the NYSP Superintendent (at that time) decided they were a "Short Barreled Rifle" and therefore not legal to own in New York.... word has it that many Dealers sold them here anyway so long as you had a Handgun Licenses, and it was amended to reflect it. Notwithstanding the recent changes in NY Law covering what ATF classified as "other" Shotguns, there were a good many sold here, and the ruling from NYSP to their Troopers was "If you encounter one, seize it and let the Judge decide."
Place your bets and roll the Dice... just remember the House always wins.
