I have a Henry Big Boy with a large loop in .357 mag. So this would be a good addition to the collection. Currently I have 16 revolvers. Love the wheel guns.

I want a large loop Henry soooo bad. I need to stop watching The Rifleman. Maybe I should just put a big loop on my Win 94 and call it good.
And these new Henry revolvers aren’t really anything unique, special, or innovative, but they are nice looking and not common yet.

Well I just ordered one. Might end up being a safe queen but it sure will look good next to the Henry rifle. I will post a picture when I pick it up.

I shot a couple cylinders through a Kimber da/sa and it was very accurate and smooth...I have the DAO K6 and the only complaint (which is subjective) is that it's heavy, but with full-house .357's that's not a bad thing. At the same time I was shooting a 3" (new) Colt King Cobra: the Kimber was nicer.

Modern double-actions with the aesthetics of early single-action revolvers. Not my cup of tea. I'd rather have an actual single-action. That said, I get the appeal. Kinda neat as a collector's piece, though for something I'd shoot regularly, I'd probably prefer something else.

Well I went to the local gun shop to pick up my Henry. When I went to inspect it I could not open it, the cylinder would not turn nor would the trigger or hammer move. Everything is locked up. Dealer will call Henry on Monday and probably send it back.
And, a fine collection it is....

They don’t have an internal lock like a S&W, so something is up. Interested to hear the solution. I hope it’s simple and not a defect. Sorry to hear about new gun day getting canceled. Bummer.

I've seen this problem before. It may just be the cylinder pin is not quite in position or may have multi positions. Good luck

Sorry I assumed it was a single action. Must be something in the release button but now I'm curious too.

I got the revolver back. According to Henry it was a burr in the barrel that locked the cylinder. They test fired it 6 times and now everything seems to be perfect. Not sure how it passed inspection the first time but it did the second time.

The squared off grip vs smoothed into the frame surprises me. I expected a higher level of fit & finish on this gun. How’s it shoot?
