Looking for a Henry .22 lever. Plain blued barrel with hooded front sight. Prefer local so I don’t have to pay shipping. Used in excellent condition is what I am looking for.

$329 right now at cabelas. I’d sell you mine but my son wants it. I personally do not like the gun and it’s very barrel/front heavy. Now my son is all the sudden in love with it so he gets it, sorry.

are you sure you want one?... I have one and to be honest its pretty poorly made. I am very disapointed in Henry. It is no where near the quality that you get in their Big Boy Line. YMMV

I agree and I’m not a fan. They have gone up significantly since I bought mine as well. The internals are cheaply made and mines not anywhere near as accurate as my ruger 10/22.

I know nothing of the Rossi lever .22. Sorry I can’t help you out there. I go for my 10/22 all day everyday over the Henry. All the internals seem to be pot metal to me.

I did purchase the Henry at Cabela’s today. $329 + tax. Hard to beat that deal. Now I have 3 Henry’s. Big Boy in .357, Golden Boy and now the standard classic .22. All is well in the world now.
