I don't know the weight of that piece, but it looks like it would be above 50 oz also.

So two things at play you keep ignoring.
1) if its semi auto and can accept a detachable magazine, then it cant have anything else

Or

2) if it's not semi auto it can have what ever the fuck it want

Bonus if its semi auto but cant take a detachable magazine than it can have what ever else it wants

Don't forget, this also accepts a detachable magazine outside the grip, which is another no no on a pistol in NY.

Unless you make it a fixed mag, there are several reasons this is a no go here in the people's republic of NY.

Edwardteach is correct on this. I have a Ar pistol with a pinned mag on my permit....it is no longer an assault weapon
