Gun owners across the nation have wondered how the company’s change would impact them. One Twitter follower tweeted Lemonis and asked him if firearms would be sold at the new Gander Mountain company.

better pricing would be different, they were the most expensive firearms around here ( that I know of ) But I shop mostly at Beikirchs

and when we had the ammo shortages, Gander was selling small pistol primers for $45/thousand. Everyone else was at $32-$38 per thousand. I asked the sales guy and he was convinced they were going to sell them. I went back a week later and the shelf was still full. I asked another sales guy how many they sold and he said, none, everyone is going to the LGS....DUH!!!!

Totally irrelevant, but some of those logos that are submissions for the logo contest are pretty great and already blow Ganders existing logo away. Very smart to change the name to Gander Outdoors and also pretty smart to hold a contest giving away $25k for a new logo. Probably way cheaper than hiring a graphics design company and great publicity too. This dude is smart, but we already knew that, you don't get that rich by being and idiot.

Stopped in tonight, no real "deals" that I could see, pretty disappointing in all honesty.

Bought a few shirts and some shorts, but they were offering a whopping "5% Off" already overpriced firearms!

I stopped by mine here and they 5% off all firearms. Even with the 5% off they were almost at LGS prices around here. Hopefully they will come back swinging

Their closing "sale" they had going on was completely lame. I was disappointed to see that some guns were marked up from the last time I was there, with 5% off. Sales tax after a deduction of 5% still doesn't come close to the savings of buying something online. Rather support a local shop.
