Here’s the list of Democrats politicizing the Las Vegas shooting

Just hours after the deadliest mass shooting in the United States, Las Vegas police are still identifying and counting the lives lost at the scene of the active investigation. President Trump addressed the nation calling for unity following the massacre that killed at least 58 people and injured more than 400 concertgoers.

Meanwhile, in the wake of tragedy, Democrats are using the deadliest mass shooting as a platform to attack the GOP and push for stricter gun control policies.

Here is an ongoing list:

In a series of tweets, Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) slammed the GOP and the NRA. One tweet read, “And once and for all, we need to make NRA stand for “Not Relevant Anymore” in American politics.” In his 11th consecutive tweet in response to the tragedy, the Senator posted his gun violence legislation in addition to calling for a ban on all assault weapons.

Mark Kelly on Politicizing Las Vegas Shooting: ‘If Not Now, When?’
WASHINGTON – Gun-control advocate and former astronaut Mark Kelly, the husband of former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-Ariz.), said on Capitol Hill today that President Trump’s message of “thoughts and prayers” for the families of the victims affected by the Las Vegas shooting is insufficient to stop gun violence.

“What we’re hearing today at the Capitol and the White House are thoughts and prayers. Thoughts and prayers are important. We send our thoughts and prayers, too, but they are not enough. Your thoughts and prayers aren’t going to stop the next shooting,” Kelly said alongside Giffords during a press conference. “Only action and leadership will do that. For years, Gabby and I have been working to get the people in this building to summon the courage to take meaningful action that make our communities safer places to live.”

Reacting to the mass shooting in Las Vegas that has claimed the lives of 59 people, Trump said, “Melania and I are praying for every American who has been hurt, wounded, or lost the ones they love so dearly in this terrible, terrible attack. We pray for the entire nation to find unity and peace. And we pray for the day when evil is banished, and the innocent are safe from hatred and from fear.”

Ban all "assault weapons in the USA.
Force people to sell their MSRs to the government.
Have a clause in the new law.
The moment an "assault weapon" is used in ANY crime in this country, the law is instantly repealed and EVERY lawmaker involved in its creation and ALL that backed it, lose their jobs immediately. Also, no more gun bans will be entertained ever again.
If, as they claim, a ban will stop the violence, they have no worries.
As WE know, the law will not last long.

Drugs and weapons exist in every prison. But I hear ya...

How about they try their new gun laws out on heroin and cocaine first. If they can keep those out of criminal hands, then we'll talk.

The answer will still be NO, of course, but until they can control drugs, there is NO point in even discussing a gun law.
