Hertz to sell majority of EV fleet due to lack of demand and repair costs

Apparently collision and damage repair costs are substantially higher than ICE vehicles so they are selling the EVs and replacing them with mostly ICE vehicles. They said Tesla EVs cost substantially more to repair than say GM EVs. At this rate we will never save Mother Earth and we’re all doomed.

Is it true that on home owners policies that if you own an EV or a Hybrid and you park it in your garage/structure, that you will need to purchase supplemental insurance?

I heard it from a coworker that their wife works as a claims adjuster for a major insurance company.
