Traveling up toward Lake George soon with the family can anyone recommend any good gun shops that way. Thanks
Haven't been there but know there is an indoor range just south of Lake George Village along Rt 9 (or is it 9N?).
Wouldn't exactly call them "good gun shops" but Nemecs in Warrensburg (Northway Exit 23) and The Country Store in Chestertown (Northway Exit 25) have gun counters along with a ton of other fishing/outdoor/camping etc stuff. Last time I checked Country Store (earlier this Spring) they didn't have any ammo in ANY calibers I was looking for. They had a fairly decent assortment of rifles. Not sure if ammo situation has changed or not... Haven't been to Nemecs in a few years couldn't tell you what their inventory situation is like.
