High School Shooting Teams Are Getting Wildly Popular — And the NRA Is Helping

My Club has one school using our facility so far.

In NY they proposed banning them last year.

Local trap team shoots at our club. Coach informed our members the new principal (pal, yeah right) reduced them to club status so now they dont get the funding support from the school they used to, like other sports like football, basketball, etc. They have a really good group of kids who did extremely well in their first year with more interest growing. Welcome to liberal school politics.

It would be great if shooting teams became the norm again. When I was growing up, EVERYBODY I knew either owned a gun, or could always borrow "Dad's" gun for a bit of rabbit or pheasant hunting after school. WOW, how times have changed!!

Best part is, no one went out and shot each other, or shot up a building!!

to bad the NRA didn't fight the schools .. every school has a 100 yd shooting range .. IE the football field ..
