HK Trigger Return Spring - any experiences with reinstallation?

so i recently replaced the hammer in my HK P30 v1, which is another story about why. After 90 min or so I took it apart and replaced everything, but i realized afterwards that somewhere in the process the HRS was not seated correctly. I need to disassemble and realign it, and i picked up the special HK pliers to do so. Functionally it seems ok, but i do want to correct this issue before I put any rounds through it.

Just curious if anyone here has experience with this and can provide some tips and tricks? Ive seen some instructions but they arent exactly clear. TIA for any help you can offer!

No YouTube videos on it? An HK Forum? I’ve got no experience but I know my one gun I wanted to replace a part on it and there are warnings all over about how hard it is and it’s not for a guy like me to do it.

A few things will help this process.
The frame should be in a vise to keep stable
The slide stop should be partly in the gun
Make sure the long leg on the spring is place correctly... faces forward- front of gun
Holding the spring in the plyers correctly helps
While holding the spring in the plyers the short leg should be pointing 9 oclock
When inserting, press straight down to catch the tip of the long leg then to the rear to catch the short leg
Third hand always kelps.

Is this the heavy or light TRS ?

thank you! i've looked on hk forum and youtube, nothing as specific as you mention. short leg should rest agains the hammer, correct? I have the spring installed with the coil over the hammer axle, and will have to remove the seer components again to get is placed properly. Or can i do it all in place? i just don't think i can access it with those components in place.

FYI this is v1 light LEM so im assuming its the light spring.
