Ya know Darth, I didn't understand the love and hype you've been giving the Walthers. And then I picked up a couple of them in the store. Dammit man, you're killin' my wallet. Kept picking up an HK VP9 and comparing it to the PPQs. Damn. PPQ M2, maybe even a Q5 Match. Damn.

Dude come on...
The only walther that even slightly resembles a hipoint is the Creed. And by all accounts of people who have them or have shot them they are well liked.

Walther has a unique look/form to them but they are very ergonomic and work. I think Walther is under appreciated. Their biggest mistake was selling their brand licence to umarex to make poor quality pistols like the CCP.

If Walther ever got a major military or LEO contract I could see them growing in popularity. I'm not sure if that will happen or not so walther will be relegated to niche market of loyal customers. Just my .02 cents

The didn't sell their license. Umarex owns Walther. Their Ulm factory make the good pistols. Their Cologne factory makes the "others."

@FLA45fan get the Omega. I have my SMP and Planet Ocean. Now I want a Speedmaster.

Can't go wrong with either the VP 9 or the Walther. Both are first class striker fire guns with 2 of the best triggers out there.(CZ P10 is right there with them) The VP 9 does have better aftermarket support.
