They don’t care because they get paid a fortune to do this. I worked with the guard on a project once and they basically told me they didn’t care because they were state side and got paid like they weren’t. They were all pretty close to home but got paid well.

There will be some other parts of the pay, all depending on what type of orders they are on.

This is not a fortune. State Active Duty (SAD) orders are what these NG Soldiers are under right now. Not sure if they qualify for meals or housing.

They did where I worked with them and they were from the Rochester area coming to Buffalo. I know the ones I talked to were all loving it but they had meals provided to them daily where I was working with them and they received the meal allowance as well.

Regardless of how much they get paid, I wouldn't want to put up with having to tell law abiding American citizens to show me everything in your bag to get on a stupid train only because of a select few that want to make things bad for others. There's a fine line of what is right and what is wrong and invasion of privacy, along with moral and ethics.

Then again, people are likely conditioned down in NYC to just willy nilly give them access to whatever.

Me, if they asked me, I'd laugh, turn around, and walk away. I'd rather walk than be subjected to that hypocrisy. My freedoms are already eroded enough.
