While in general I think your statement is true, there are also plenty of lefties leaning people out there that own guns (typically fudds) and I know quite a few with CCW
MAGA types likely own guns, but gun ownership does not mean one is MAGA type.

And that’s the key point. There are a lot of left leaning people with conceal carry permits that have been hurt by the new carry laws. These people don’t care about scary black rifles, features or capacities or how tough the hoops are you have to jump thru. As long as they can could carry their revolver or 1911 or Glock 43 they were happy. Now they can’t carry anywheres. Those people are pissed.

I've been CC for over 30 years. I have no interest in black rifles, but I'd never dream of telling anyone they can't own them. In fact, have at it, the more the merrier. And Yes, I am pissed.
