If you land on the .300 Blackout, I definitely advise being very selective with ammo and wouldn't trust it on game with long shots using most ammo out there. Definitely supersonic.
I've used the 110 gr Vmax and 110 gr Barnes TacTX hunting. I wouldn't recommend the VMax. Too lightly built and explosive for hogs at close range if you shoot a big one and it hits hard bone or the gristle plate.
The 110 gr TacTX, despite its light weight gives good penetration and excellent expansion at 50 yards. Mine were loaded to 2400 fps. Based on short-barrel tests that have a muzzle velocity in the 2000s and still do excellently in gel, I think that you'd be good out to 150 yards as well.
From the heavier weight bullets, most have a relatively low muzzle velocity, so I don't have much confidence in their expansion at longer ranges. The Winchester Silvertip 150 gr seems pretty good at close range and I suspect wouldn't suck out to 150 yards either.

Disclaimer... I'm no expert on shooting hogs, never shot one. But I'd say shot placement is key, regardless of the choice of weapon or ammo. Hell, deer jackers have been known to use .22 shorts. I have a lever Marlin 30-30 with a not so pricey scope that's pretty darn good at +100 yards.

Not a hunter, but I thought the old 7.62x39 was the preferred round in hog hunting? Plus the fact it’s available in the AR or AK platform? Probably the most cost efficient also.

I kick myself in the ass, a few years ago I was offered a free Tx. from an on-line friend. It would have been totally unguided but he owned the property and offered the use of a camper to sleep in. The place was off grid, no elect. or water but it was FREE. At the time I just couldn't justify taking time off work! That was really stupid of me and I learned a valuable lesson, don't put things off! I'm planning on making the most of this hunt and even though it's a "canned" hunt I'm still looking forward to it.
I'm heading out to the range today, going to take the .44, 7mm. and .300BO and narrow my choice down, that way I can get started on second guessing my choice!

The 3030 lever action was my choice for wild pigs when l lived in Australia, ample power, quick fallow up shots and good out to 150 yrds + and yes, using iron sights.
From what you've said, I'd suggest taking you current Rifles to the Range and run a box through each; see which one feels right, has the accuracy and reliability you need...nothing worse than stepping up to the line and having everything turn to shit.
Oh and as mentioned above: the 110gr. Barns Tac-X Bullets would be an excellent choice and loaded into that 23-24 hundred FPS range should do a hell of a job, and give you more distance than you might think...those solid copper projectiles hold their weight!

300 pounds, One shot, 40 or so yards and DRT with my Ruger 10-22. ( J/K) it's really a Ruger .44mag, loaded with 300grain Hornady XTP's

The Southern guys I've talked to on other gun sites say these wild pigs taste like shit. They give them away to food shelters. I'll wait for your report.

I can attest to that. The one I shot in Vermont was awful. When we got back to my cabin me and my friends cooked a loin roast. Was horrid. If a butcher sold me a piece of pork that tasted that bad I'd have taken it back and slapped him in the face with it. Tried smoking a ham, it was just as bad, the rest of the pig went south, I wouldnt even give it to my dogs. I shot a male, I was told that unless the male is castrated it will taste like shit. It did. But my friend Sonny shot a female, it was no better.

This guy was taken in the Corpus Cristi area. 7.62 x 39 suppressed AR frame with a thermal scope. Two of us shot together and scored two hits at 85 yards at 11pm. He dropped like 400 lbs. of lead, never took a step. Only got one other smaller one that night. Due to a full moon they were skittish.

So far we have had pork chops, breakfast sausage, sweet Italian sausage, bacon and a small roast that was cooked up in the crock pot, all was somewhere between good and real damn good!
Don't know if it was the hog (my friends also got 2 pigs and are happy) or the butchering and smoking. I'm happy!.
