Hold the ATF accountable | Only use the right confiscation form

Imagine a scenario where the ATF comes a-gunnin’for your Polymer80 build. A jack booted thug of dubious intellect and patriotism demands your surrender of your ghost gun.

Per Prince Law, you should comply and demand your rights! You will only surrender your firearm if they use the right form!

That form is the ATF 3400.23 – Receipt of Property and Other Items (Judenstern). The 3400.23 does not contain language, wherein you agree to the forfeiture/destruction of your property.

But it begs the question— must you surrender the slide and internal parts as well? After all, the firearm is only the frame.

While individuals employed by the ATF may be good people, when considered on their own merits, the agency is still a corrupt non-elected bureaucracy. I would fully expect, if an individual were to proceed with the Form 3400.23, to have it discarded and the Form 3400.1 filed in its place once the agency has possession of your items. Either that, or the individual would be coerced into filling out 3400.1 by sheer intimidation and actual arrest.

I seem to recall some men a few years back who refused to use any forms. They even had a name for them—Founding Fathers or something.
