Holy ammo fairy .Batman!

I went to a Walmart that I haven't visited in awhile ( Clay / Liverpool) and I was shocked to see that the ammo case was full.
Not only full, but had all kinds of neat, never before instock rounds.

22? Sure ! Wincester or CCI, Want a 1k box of M-22 ? Which one would you like?
Hollow point 223...couple of choices
9mm personal defence rounds? Here you go!

The WM that I usually go to as it is closer to work is not nearly stocked so well.

Went next door to Runnings and they have plenty of Ely .22 . ( subsonics, regular and high end).
No empty spots there either.

Next I drove to Herb Phillipson's and they were stocked as well.

If you can find it, my credo is to stock up now on what you could not find during the recent years of the Obama administration since, depending on the outcome in November, things could get worse. I just picked up 700 rounds of 22 short down in Florida at a Gander Mountain. First got 200 rounds of it, then went back and bought the other 500 which were the last of what they had in stock of 22 short. Of course, depending on November, things could get better but then you can actually start shooting what you have in your ammo locker.

Dang, our local Walmart has about 9 boxes of random ammo at any one time. Ive NEVER seen hollow points in any caliber. For 9mm its 115 grain FMJ from either Win or Rem, thats it.
On rare occasion they have that Federal Aluminum for 10 bucks a box......which I dont care for.

I have 3 Super WalMarts within a 15 min drive and they all have different inventory but yesterday was like " Holy Cow!". ..

I sorta got a chubby.

I stopped at my lgs today. He told me that several of his suppliers just notified him that right around the corner, probably next week, ammo prices are going to have a significant increase. Don't know the exact reason given for this though.

Checked my local Walmart today,they had plenty of most any caliber except .22

My LGS usually has a decent stock of ammo but the 3 Walmarts in my area are always in post pillaging state and have only shotgun ammo and the expensive personal defense rounds left. Cabelas always has a great selection of ammo but you pay a little more.

Actually, I know people in middle management at that store and they are doing very well.
They always make or surpass their sales goals.

Yeah, unless they moved to a different building in the same section? When I drove past, on a Saturday or Sunday morning, not a single car in the parking lot. I remember about 6 years ago I went to that one.

I am one who does not care how low their prices are or how much they have in stock; I will NOT shop at Walmart!!
