They want total control over the drones primarily because of what happened at the Ranch and the Govt building takeover out west! Make no mistake about it... information "IS" a weapon!

Seems to me to be a perfect opportunity to develop a "Drone Killing Drone". You know, set it up with a giant claw or two,- kind of like a hawk. Design it to handle rough landings after clamping it on to the intruder and forcing it down.

Would have to DIY since radio jamming devices similar to this are prohibited by law except for a few Fed agencies and Military. It is even against federal law for any State or local agency including law enforcement to own or use similar devices. The law assumes there is a potential for them to be a weapon of mass destruction. I assume these could be a bitch on self driving cars since they have relatively weak control encryption and heavily rely on sensors / gps.
