How do Chautauqua county ammendments work?

If I were to sell a handgun to a guy with a Chautauqua county permit , how does that work?

Here in Onondaga county, we go to the FFL, they do a NICS, we get a receipt to take to Permit office. The seller has it removed from his permit, the buyer has it added and gets a coupon to give to FFL . FFL gives him the pistol.

Some counties let you have coupons "just in case" . Some make you wait for months to add it to your permit.

Anyone from Chautauqua that knows?

I've only bought new here. By gun, take paperwork to permit office, put on permit, go back to dealer and pick up gun.
