So it is probably a good idea to have different calibers to use during trying times and shortages. If you don’t mind how many different calibers do you own?

I am the opposites.

I try to reduce the number of calibers I need to stock, and to keep them to the most common.

I figure you can cover pretty much anything you need to do with a gun with those.

I have a few others I'm interested in adding, like 10mm and 5.7x28, But I'm probably not doing that anytime soon with the recent developments.

I have also been thinking of adding a wheel gun in a wheel gun caliber to my stock, but that's another "down the road" list.

I have some others like 7.7 Arisaka, but that isn't really a gun I go out and shoot much so I'm not sure you'd count it as ammo I "stock" although I usually have a couple dozen rounds for it.

It's difficult. I knew I'd forget a few. Add to the list :

And there are a couple that I don't honestly know what they are. I have a few rather old drillings that have unidentified chambers. Being mostly European, they have 16 ga smoothbores. I'm not inclined to attempt to shoot anything more than 150 years old though, so I guess they don't really count.

5.56 is a huge caliber. It's a ghost gun 60 bullets per second pistol murder caliber. I don't have any of that.
