I think around 7 or 85/ how many did the OP get ?
I’ve made a pact with myself that I have to buy at least one gun per year until I die,and never sell. Then my collection will be split among my kids. In 2017 I bought a Ruger 10/22 and an AR10that I’m building. This year (2018) I plan on getting at least 2.
Will you adopt me?I generally buy guns in doubles so each of the boys with get one, a couple years ago I bought thirty of them.
It takes time to buy two of the higher priced guns. If I pick up something they don't like I'll flip it and use the money for another gun.
I look at these as my inheritance to them instead of cash with I turn in my chips.
Plus I get to shoot a bunch of guns that I know my kids will be shooting for years after I'm gone.
I have given them a bunch of guns all ready, I bought two of my grandsons (6 & 7) years old each a Savage Rascle 22lr for X-Mas last year.
I bought them gun cases that fit the guns, each a brick of 22lr bullets and and some other stuff for this X-Mas.
I put together an upper and reconfigured another one. No new firearms. I spent over $6,000 on optics in the last 18 months.
All of them... the pistols that is. So, that number would be 11, but I sold the Shield, so net 10 pistols, two lowers, and three rifles for my little guy. My wife would fucking kill me if she had any idea.
My Old Lady told me ten years ago "You buy ONE MORE FUCKIN GUN, We're DONE" Well the very next day I bought a brand new Winchester Super X3 12 gauge in the Waterfowl Package, still unfired. and about sixty other guns.
There has to be over a hundred guns in the "Inheritance Collection" me to use, and the kids to inherit. A Win/Win situation.
What?none i don't own and guns!
not since the boating accident!
We are still together, But she has no idea what I have in "My Gun Room". She gambles, I buy & shoot guns, so it works out.
When my oldest son came out here to Washington State last January he built my Reloading Table for me in my Gun Room, so now I can go shooting with my six year old grandson for a Fraction of the Cost.
God, Life is GOOD.
Enjoy him everyday you can. Next blink of an eye, he will be graduating college.
R'amen brother.Sadly, I only added two in 2017. I am so ashamed of myself that I will vow here and now to do better in 2018!
Zing.I think this year like only one
THOUSAND!!!!!!!!!!
Ha! I can see! I don't need those stupid raised bumps!2018 will be a VERY good year for me with the arrival of my grail gun..............how's that for a tease!!
