How To Fix The Political System (Erie County)

I created this thread to come up with real goals and ideas on how to fix the system by starting at the county level. This is for Erie County, please feel free to start a thread for you county. I think this is the only way we are going to fix the system.

Obviously trying to get another party started is almost impossible in this state, so how do we take over the current Erie County Republican party and put people in power that will actually work for the people?

Goals:
Remove all currently elected officials that do not abide by the Constitution.
Get people into power inside the local Republican party to nominate the right people and put forth a meaningful agenda.

Please feel free to add goals and discuss how to complete them. I know I need to learn a lot more out the behind the scenes shit of getting someone nominated and elected.

First thing that needs to be done is to get rid of the mindset in Buffalo or this will never happen. The welfare for life is what’s causing this. You have one party that says if you vote for me I’ll pay for and make all your bad decisions go away. If you’re a fuck up why wouldn’t you vote for them. Most people are fuck ups now a days.
In my opinion the welfare system at the county level is broken. Some 80% of your county taxes go to this from what I’ve heard.
My plan is you come for welfare and you get asked what do you want to do in life? If it’s a viable in demand job we pay for everything for X amount of years to get your degree or training and your never eligible again unless extenuating circumstances.
They also automatically enroll you in say 3 welfare programs if you qualify for one regardless of you qualify for them all or not.
In addition if you get welfare and say TOPS wants to give you a raise or a promotion and you get $1,000 per month in welfare benefits of you make under $30,000/year. Say the raise or promotion will make you $31,000 you lose $12,000/year to gain $1,000. Who would do that? We should take the difference and then it can go back into say the roads or another program.
The increased minimum wage is bad and makes people work less and companies cut hours.
People have lost all accountability and that’s our issue.

Other huge issues is the parties work together behind the scenes to get who they want elected. Ever notice there is no one challenging another candidate for district attorney or Supreme Court justice? Democrats and republicans leaders agree on who to put forth. This shit has to stop.

You start by getting involved on the local level in your Town. You get a say. I attend my towns board meetings, that is important too.

I can call my town's supervisor right now and he will answer my call. I can call Karl Simmeth our current Erie County Republican Party Chairman and he will answer my call. I can call my NY State assemblyman right now and he will answer my call.

One very important thing we need to do IS GET PEOPLE TO THE POLLS and actually vote - it is embarrassing how many do not vote, I am talking registered voters even.

Get people registered as Republicans, we are vastly out numbered in Erie County:

Karl Simmeth is and he is good people. Deals are not made behind doors with the Democratic Party. Besides which group of the Democratic Party is it that they made deals with? In Erie County the Democrats are divided in factions, they are not in full unity. The Republican Party is unified.

Just because someone has a line on the ticket does not mean the party has endorsed that person. If they get enough signatures and have a RINO witness from the party they can get on the ticket and win via primary. That is why it is important to be registered as a Republican, so you can protect the party and purge these back stabbing RINOs. Turn coats have hurt the Erie County Party recently, look how we lost control of Legislature, scum bag Kevin Hardwick switched and became a demonrat.

Why the Republican Party? Wouldn’t it be better to take over the democrat party? Most people vote democrat blindly in Erie county. So as long as you got a D next to your name you are good. We see so many RINO’s get elected this way in NY when they are not Republican in anything they actually do. So why not be the democrat version, a DINO? Either it works and you get elected or causes cracks in the democrat party and splits the democrat vote, thus allowing a Republican to get elected. Run on a platform of gun control and then once elected work to loosen and remove gun laws etc.

I know the Democratic one. He went to school with my brother. Hated him then and his sister is a big bitch. Moms a criminal. I had to throw her off my porch. She wanted me to sign petitions to get democrats on the ballot. I said no and she kept saying it doesn’t matter it’s just your signature to get them on the ballot. I said I’m not signing for a Democrat get off my property and she finally left. At that time the Republican signature taker lady walked by and I tried to call her over. She wouldn’t come near that women and just walked by.

Not sure why he would lie to me or why there would NEVER be a choice for Supreme Court justice. I’ve been voting for 22 years and never remember a choice. They don’t even tell you what their part affiliation is when I try to look. I always write some one else in. Lately I’ve been writing in why no choice?

While I agree we are out numbered but not as bad as it seems. My father in law is a registered Democrat and he’s as conservative as me.
A while back I was a registered conservative since I don’t care for most democrats or republicans. I tried to change my party to Republican to vote in the primary. I printed the paperwork off three times in 2016 and the only choice to click was Democrat. It cut off there and the following page didn’t print. I thought it was really interesting. I did this at work with probably a 30,000 printer. I tried at home too. Same result. Not saying it’s a conspiracy but thought it was crazy.

I am fully engaged, I know what I am talking about, talking on a forum will not get it done, I told you the path to take, we can choose to remain ignorant, as most do, and have for a long time and just get angry and shake their head when things do not go well.

We lost the senate because in Georgia turnout was key and the Democrats simply got more of their people to vote. It is embarrassing how many on our side cannot even take the time to vote.
