How was Christmas?

How was everyone’s Christmas? I would have posted this question sooner but got caught up in winter storm and had no internet/service.



This year was really awesome. I wanted to do something different so I bought all the guys in my family the same gift. I love my Kore belt and my new wallet from axwell so I gifted my dad, grandfather, brother in law and cousin each a belt and wallet.



it was great seeing them open it and geeking out over it. Made my whole day.

Great time. Went up to my little sister's place in MA. My older sister is staying with her until she heals up from surgery. Saw my neice and nephews, introduced my girlfriend. Lots of Laughs, Great Stories and Love; Great food, Good whiskey and wine. Pups behaved and had everyone fawning over them.

I hope everyone had as good a Christmas as I did.

I don’t care for Christmas much especially the month leading up to it. But once it’s here I’m good.

Pretty crappy. I got caught in the storm and have been very sick/tired. I can’t make it through the day without napping and I never nap. Kids cars broke, bushes are trashed from the storm, snow got in my ridge vents and was dripping into my house so I had to work on that. I don’t have the energy to fix this crap. Tomorrow I hope to tie up the bushes since that’s the most time sensitive. Cars going to the mechanic because I don’t have it in me to repair. Next week I’ll fix the roof related damage that’s minimal.
The actual Christmas part was ok and I got ice fishing gear, but the 50 degree weather is t boding well for that happening either.

My Christmas was Pretty rough with the storm but I fared better than others. I’m going to live it up a little extra for New Years to make up for it.

We got blown up by the storm. Bought plane tickets for all family members to come out for Christmas…yada yada yada…it was a lonely holiday.

It is what it is.

My friend/brother's (found brother, not bio brother, one of my closest freinds for over 30 years) dad died on his birthday (the friend's birthday not the dad's) and few days before Christmas. So there was that. Wake and stuff. That was the most people I've been in close proximity with since before covid started.

Other than that, on the actual day, ate microwave food alone.. so a normal day (which I'm perfectly fine with), except for the usual holiday calls/texts with family.
