The “Rich and powerful” stay armed while we need permission from the government to even purchase. Notice whenever there is a new gun bill with restrictions GOVERNMENT are always exempt. I’m all in favor for “GUN CONTROL” if there’s no exemption. If citizens can’t buy “aSsAuLT WeApOnS” then law enforcement shouldn’t either. They should only carry their “Duty” firearm and just to prove how stupid “gun control is” they should abide by state law so YEAH 10 round magazine 50 Oz and all that crap (Just to prove how stupid these laws are). The only exemption would obviously be military since these liberals who write the law saying “AR and other semi auto rifles are military grade rifles.” So why would a cop need military grade rifles? (Just to show how stupid this is) If I can’t have a SBR or AR pistol, AOW , Other firearms, REAL AR, none of that compliant BS with “Scary” features then a cop shouldn’t either nor special security because once you only make a law everyone should obey it no matter what your current employment status is. On the other side of this argument if you do want to keep the exemption I truly believe that all MILITARY and vets should be exempt from the gun laws and should be able to purchase ANY firearm (yes full auto) and travel with it in any state regardless of their restriction kind of like the LEOSA and should be able to carry under their military ID (some might be on the fence about it but we could find a way to make it work.)
