I keep seeing these rations for sale and they are pretty cheap, What the deal with them? I understand the part about they are a non meat/everyone can eat them ration.
At $4.40 each shipped it doesn't seem like a bad way to get 2200 calories?

If they're those halal meals we carried around for the terps and locals in Afghanistan, they seemed extremely unappealing

They aren’t too bad tasting for the couple I tried. Grabbed a few cases to have on hand.

They are all over the place. I get email alerts all the time for them from various suppliers but I am sure shipping would kill the deal.

After much procrastination pulled the trigger on some cases. The price really is reasonable for what they are.
