Give them their safe spaces.
The more the schools coddle them, the less likely they will be to get jobs and be productive.
This will leave good jobs and leadership rolls to rational thinking conservative students.
So I say, LET THEM HAVE THEIR SAFE SPACES!!!
This will make them more likely to fail in life.
Wait...what? They "walked out" on classes that THEY are paying for? That's THEIR PROBLEM.
I once had a professor tell the class point blank, "I'm not your father. I don't care whether you come to class or not. You are paying to be here to learn. If you don't want to do that, it's not my problem."
I spent a lot of time in science classes as an undergraduate. We wouldn't have dared "walk out" on a mandatory lab section in chemistry, biology, or physics.
This is exactly what I tell my students. However, you are responsible for what occurs in the class, be it materials not in the book, an in-class graded item, whatever.Wait...what? They "walked out" on classes that THEY are paying for? That's THEIR PROBLEM.
