Hunting shotgun

Hi, I'm in the market for a hunting shotgun. I am not completely sure what to buy, but here is what I will do with it and my criteria, hope somone knows of a good gun for this.

Criteria:

Semi-auto
Reliable
High quality
Under $1,250
Soft recoiling

Purpose:

Turkey hunting, more specifically sitting in one place and calling
Squirrel hunting, walking around
Crow hunting
Coyote hunting every now and then
Maybe waterfowl in the future

Also what accessories would I want?

Not sure about coyotes (personally I would want a rifle) but for the others I have a Mossberg 930 I like a lot.

Turkey loads will kick regardless of gun.

Yotes would be a close range target but waterfowl will be the extreme opposite. Buy two shotguns or one with a 2 barrel option.

Pick up some choke tubes and pattern it. That is all I would get. If you hunt predators in a field, you will just need to wait till they get within range. Pattern your shotgun to know what your range is.

Don't buy a brand new design remington. nobody knows if they are going to be around in 1 year time or discontinue parts for what models.
If you want a remington find a 1100 that is in good shape. those have a huge aftermarket support.
Winchester sx3 scores very high in the quality / reliability rating.

Not much semi auto experience, have 2 Mossberg 935’s 12 gauge , Mossberg 500 20 g, and an 870 20 g I’m happy with, multiple barrels but only have the 870 set up for slugs now.

A semi auto 20 gauge with a 26 or 28 inch barrel with multiple chokes will do well for all your hunting except deer. Deer would be the only reason why you would need 2 barrels because you would be shooting slugs and you would want a rifled barrel but you didn't mention deer.

What about something like a Benneli Montefeltro MSRP right in your ballpark. Synthetic stock. Semi-auto field gun. Montefeltro Shotguns | Benelli Shotguns and Rifles

Don't have any experience with this model but did own a Benneli M4 and it was awesome.

If your plan includes waterfowl and coyotes then your going to want a 12 guage 3 1/2". I use a 3" 1100 for ducks but geese and coyotes is a 3 1/2 870. I have several chokes for the 870 including a carlsons rifled choke tube and a buckshot tube that fires nice groups at 80+ yds. Coyotes are tuff to get in closer than 50 and ive got several kills past 80 but it will cost lots of ammo to get it pattered out that far.

I dunno, the buck I shot last year with a smooth bore 20 gauge with a rifled slug didnt get up and argue with me afterward.

Don't have any experience with this model but did own a Benneli M4 and it was awesome.

My friend has one and it has 0 recoil on your shoulder, but gives quite the bruise on your cheek with only trap loads, let alone 3" magnums.

Here's two shotguns I've bought within the last two years and you can buy both and still be in your budget.
Beretta A300 Outlander dressed in walnut. a smooth operator, 3 shot sporting gun , came with 3 chokes I believe. I think I paid $800 brand new..
EAA / Girsan MC312 , A Turkish made Benelli system ripoff, dressed in plastic and aluminum frame, lightweight, very smooth operating but kicks like a mule though. chambered 2 3/4 -3 1/2 and it eats the cheap loads easily , have yet to cycle any 3.5 loads but I would if i was hunting geese or turkeys. Also came with 3 screw in chokes.. A great gun for less than $400 new. I'll be buying another if I ever find one in walnut.
