No confusion on my end. "Trump won and now we're doing it his way or the highway" were your words. Mine were that he was elected 304 vs. 227 to the Presidency. He's doing what he was elected to do, for a majority of the nation, by a mile.

Again, that's not how the United States elects a President. So we're back to "should we only uphold the parts of the constitution that you agree with"?
Nobody but you is discussing how we elect a president.
He overwhelmingly won the election, therefore is carrying out what the majority of the States voted for (wasn't even close). The people are being represented as they wished to be.
And again, THAT is not how it works.
The majority are not at the mercy of the minority, and vica versa.
Just because he becomes president does NOT mean "whatever he says goes."

Border crossing arrests were down by 77% in April and expected to be higher in May.
Why you ask?
Because Trump has sent more manpower to the border and BP has installed cameras. This is all due to the Corona virus.
If cameras have lowered crossings by 77%, imagine what a 30 ft wall and cameras would do.
Even the cartels are pissed because right now its difficult for them to get drugs over the border.

Again, "whatever he says goes" was busted. There are 3 branches of government. The President was elected at the will of the people. Wasn't even close. Stopping your feet and saying "but she had more votes, I'm with her" has zero to do with how we elect a President. The final tally of the numbers that actually count were 304-227. That's how the Founders wanted it. You dont agree with it just the same as others do not agree with them allowing you to have a gun. So if we should invalidate the election because you dont agree with that part of the constitution, then we also need to take your guns away because others disagree with that portion.
Congress is the other branch. Those people were also elected, by the people, to represent them. Congress voted on and authorized the building of the wall.
The Judicial branch is the 3rd and final branch. They are comprised of Democrat and Republican presidents appointees. They were confirmed by the Senate. They also voted that the wall may proceed.
I understand that you may not agree with things, but that doesn't invalidate it or mean "Orange man bad. He build wall. I no like" He is executing his powers, afforded by the constitution, to represent what the people that elected him wanted. More people overstay their Visas than people CAUGHT crosding the border.
These stats do not cover the people that made it over the border.
Its well known that most of the people crossing the border make it into the US unnoticed.
If there was a way to count the tens of thousands that make it in, im pretty sure the VAST majority come over the border.

They don't know how many are making it over, but, they do know that because there are less arrests even though security has been ramped up, that there are less people trying to cross.
This is another way walls work.
Not only does it stop most from crossing, but most people wont even try.
Even Mexico is saying they have had less movement through their country.
When the crossers know that security is stiffer, they decide not to cross.
