I bought a primary arms prism optic today

I’ve never owned one of their optics but it seems to get rave reviews. PA was out of it so I went to optics planet and bought it. It was the same price. It sounds interesting so let’s see what happens.

Um yeah I just looked at the email they sent me on estimated time to ship says 13-15 months. Why the fuck would it say it was in stock if that’s the case? I’m canceling the order tomorrow.

I think I got that scope from midway or Joe bobs I cant remember. Optics planet is a joke. I just cancelled an order with them for a holosun because they said in stock and then kept pushing the ship date back. As far as the scope goes it's a nice scope. The reticle was a bit busy at first since I never used one before but I got used to it.

Optics planet is a drop shipper for the most part. Tbey don't have the inventory, they just buy it from their suppliers when you order and have it sent to yoy. Their lead time SUCKED way before COVID. Joe Bob is awesome, Primary Arms too.

Then they should lie on their site and say it’s in their inventory.
I emailed Joe bob and thanked them for having prompt shipping and actual customer service. They thanked me within 10 minutes. Optics planet will not get my business anymore.

Funny they wanted my feedback. I told them I wouldn’t recommend them and three different sources told me three different timelines and it was deceptive to say it was limited stock. I told them I bought it elsewhere

I received it yesterday and the scope looks great. The glass is super clear and the recticle is clear and bright even with glasses and an astigmatism. Has 11 brightness settings. A normal red dot is not even close to clear to me.
I have not mounted it but I really like the look and feel of it. There is a riser that can be removed as well and an accessory rail. Came with a battery, all tools, and extra screws needed.
joe bob is impressive.

Then Monday I realized I needed a couple of more things so I made another order. Now it's Thursday and the scope order is "processing" and the second order says it's "en-route" since Tuesday but the carrier's site still says they're awaiting the item. I think it's time to cancel.

From optics planet? Of so look on your order and it will say the estimated time of shipment, at least it did for me. It was an insane timeframe. I love the scope, but I’ll never bother with optics planet again.
