I love my Remington R1 carry , finally got some free time@ range.

I fed it 4 different types of hp today not a hiccup, gobbles different fmjs as it should also. Nojinx.

Time for the first breakdown and cleaning.

I am in need of more range time though, hitting 1-3" left consistently shooting freehand, groups tighten up when resting on bench.

I have the R-1 Carry Commander and I like it very much. It does eat everything regardless which type of magazine I use. i.e. GI surplus, Wilson, Ed Brown, Chip McCormack, Remington, Kimber. I changed the flat MSH for an arched main spring housing with lanyard ring.

I am a fan of the checkmate mags. Gonna order a cmp mag and give it a try ,they're 8$. I missed a chance to get a commander carry last week , closeout from kgc for 540 & then a 100 back from Rem. Went out of stock before I could check out.
