I picked up a S&W Model 41 for Bullseye shooting

Gotta say my FFL really tweaked this puppy for me! Probably the best gun I own and I've only put maybe 30 rounds through it. I had my son pick it up, looks like he's going to shoot it as well. Oh Honey, I need a 2nd 41!

Cleaned and polished it up. , added the grips and the dot. He just said you will love it when I'm done with it. And I do!

Duly noted! I ran about 200 more rounds through it this morning. Damn, that is one awesome shooting gun. I shot a 248 out of 300 in bullseye last night.

Those are one of the most popular rimfire guns for bullseye. You'll like it. A bunch of guys I shot with had them. High Standards are good too.
You really need to try one of these on for size
I don't compete any more but shot these in rimfire and centerfire. Drastically helped my scores.
